Mocco Playing Football at Okie St. |

I saw in the paper that ex-Hawk HWT. Steve Mocco will be a defensive tackle for OSU this fall. I'm sure he's got the strength and size for it, but I wonder about his speed and pursuit ability. Compared to truly lean and agile HWT's like Stephen Neal or Kerry McCoy, Mocco looks almost sluggish. Maybe the Cowboys know something I don't, but I can't see how he'll be much help. I know Oostendorp and Sindlinger played football at Iowa, but were there other HWT's who also tried it? Reply |

In a scrimage held Saturday he had 6 tackles with 2 for losses.
