Looks like the national wrestling Musenum is moving from newton to Waterloo, with the new name to include Dan gable's name. Watch an interview with gable yesterday on KwwL.

Never did understand why it landed in Newton in the lst place. Maybe as a reward for Brooks Simpson's upset pin of Eric Voelker in the ISU dual in 1987 to bring Iowa back from certain defeat. Reply |

I've got some insight.
Newspaperman and former CR Gazette sports editor Mike Chapman moved to Newton to take a job at the local paper several years ago and developed the International Wrestling Institute to showcase the memorabilia he's collected over the years.
Chapman's from Waterloo and is apparently moving back to his hometown.
I'll take Dan Gable's scale.
